About

Structurepedia is an open-access, curated hub for cryo-EM protein structures that lets researchers, students, and professionals search, browse, and interactively visualize 3D models and density maps sourced from the PDB and EMDB. With robust filters (protein name, UniProt/PDB IDs, resolution), built-in LiteMol/NGL viewers, validation reports (e.g., EMRRATOR, model-to-map FSC, MolProbity links), tutorials, community annotations, and API endpoints, Structurepedia streamlines discovery and interpretation of high-quality, regularly updated cryo-EM structures across categories like viruses, enzymes, and membrane proteins.

Details

Structurepedia is a hybrid between a search engine and an online encyclopaedia which generates an interactive diagram/mind-map for any topics you want. The tree diagram is easy to navigate visually, and each node hosts a variety of more in depth resources. It aims to speed up learning by mimicking how knowledge is represented in our heads, offering a growing encyclopedia of structural diagrams.

How to Use

Search for a topic, and Structurepedia generates an interactive tree diagram. Navigate the diagram visually, and click on nodes to access in-depth resources.

Key Features

  • Interactive knowledge trees
  • Visual navigation
  • Resource-rich nodes
  • AI-powered suggestions

Use Cases
