Context7 solves the problem of Copilot using outdated API patterns by injecting current documentation directly into prompts.

How it works:
- Detects which libraries and frameworks you are using
- Fetches the latest documentation for those specific versions
- Injects relevant API references directly into the prompt context
- Ensures code suggestions match the current API, not deprecated patterns
Supported frameworks include React, Next.js, Vue, Angular, Express, FastAPI, Django, and hundreds more. Particularly useful when working with rapidly evolving frameworks where Copilot's training data may be outdated.
