RecurseChat is a personal AI app designed for chatting with local AI offline and privately. It allows users to use local AI as their daily driver, enabling them to chat with local documents, images, import ChatGPT history, perform full-text searches, and more. It's a powerful, fast, and local-first AI client for local LLMs, ChatGPT, and Claude.

## How to Use

RecurseChat allows you to chat with local AI models, PDFs, markdown files, and images. You can import your ChatGPT history and continue those chats locally. Use the floating chat window by pressing ⌘ + ⇧ + Enter. Customize the AI's personality and appearance, and use your own GGUF models or models from Hugging Face.
