64-bit Tiano Core UEFI for the Raspberry Pi 3
Free64-bit Tiano Core UEFI for Raspberry Pi 3/3B+
About 64-bit Tiano Core UEFI for the Raspberry Pi 3
This repository provides a port of 64-bit Tiano Core UEFI firmware for the Raspberry Pi 3 and 3B+ platforms, based on Ard Bisheuvel's 64-bit and Microsoft's 32-bit implementations. It is designed as a general-purpose 64-bit ATF (ARM Trusted Firmware) + UEFI implementation, enabling booting of real operating systems. The firmware has been validated with Linux (SUSE, Ubuntu), NetBSD, FreeBSD, and offers experimental 64-bit Windows on Arm support. It was used as an early development platform for NetBSD's 64-bit Arm UEFI bootloader and for demonstrating VMware ESXi-Arm on the Pi. The project is mostly EBBR compliant. Note: This repository is deprecated and has been upstreamed to the main TianoCore edk2-platforms repository.
