About apache/cloudberry
Apache Cloudberry (Incubating) is an advanced open-source Massively Parallel Processing (MPP) database created by the original developers of Greenplum Database. It evolves from the open-source version of Pivotal Greenplum Database but features a newer PostgreSQL kernel and more advanced enterprise capabilities. Designed for data warehousing, large-scale analytics, and AI/ML workloads, Cloudberry can be built from source on Linux and macOS or tried via a Docker-based sandbox. It has an ecosystem of related repositories including backup, connectors, and extensions. Community support is available through Slack, GitHub Discussions, and other channels.
