About BlackFlag ECU
BlackFlag ECU is a comprehensive, native Windows application for automotive diagnostics, ECU tuning, and performance optimization. Built with C# and WPF on .NET 8.0, it provides professional-grade tools for mechanics, tuners, and enthusiasts. Key features include an ECU scanner that identifies ECU types across major manufacturers (Bosch, Denso, Continental, Delphi, etc.), an ECU unlocker for supported processors (Infineon Tricore, NXP/Freescale MPC5xx, Renesas SH7xxx, STMicroelectronics ST10), live real-time data streaming with voltage meter, VIN decoder for vehicle specs, interactive wiring diagrams, a tune manager for creating and flashing custom ECU tunes, ECU cloning for backup/restore, and a performance dashboard displaying real-time charts for horsepower, torque, boost, and AFR. It communicates via CAN bus (ISO 15765), K-Line, and J1850 protocols. Requires Windows 10/11 (64-bit) and a J2534-compatible interface for live diagnostics. The standalone executable is available from the GitHub releases page.
