The INTEGRITY-178 real-time operating system is a variant of Green Hills Software's INTEGRITY RTOS, built on a microkernel architecture with hardware-enforced memory protection. It provides multiple protected virtual address spaces, guaranteed processor resources, hard real-time determinism, and a secure hypervisor capable of hosting Linux, Android, and other guest operating systems. INTEGRITY-178 has achieved the highest safety and security certifications in the industry, including FAA DO-178B/C DAL A for avionics and Common Criteria EAL 6+ High Robustness from the NSA, the highest security level ever awarded to a commercial OS. It also supports FDA Class II/III medical devices and industrial safety standards. The RTOS is tightly integrated with the MULTI IDE for development and is available in platforms tailored for automotive, secure IoT, avionics, industrial safety, and medical device markets.
