About SuperLim

SuperLim is a Swedish language understanding benchmark that evaluates natural language processing (NLP) models across 15 diverse tasks, including argumentation analysis (ABSAbank-Imm, Argumentation sentences), semantic similarity (SuperSim Relatedness, SuperSim Similarity), textual entailment (SweNLI), and more. It provides a public leaderboard for comparing model performance on tasks such as Swedish analogy (SweAna), diagnostic classification (SuperLim Diagnostic Dataset), and coreference resolution (SweWinograd). The benchmark is hosted by the KB Lab (National Library of Sweden) and supports both test and dev sets for evaluation.

Key Features

Evaluates models on 15 distinct Swedish NLP tasks
Public leaderboard for easy comparison of model performance
Includes tasks covering argumentation, semantic similarity, textual entailment, analogy, paraphrase detection, and more
Provides test and dev sets for fair evaluation
Part of KB Lab's resources for Swedish language technology

Pros & Cons

Pros
  • Comprehensive coverage of Swedish NLP tasks across multiple linguistic phenomena
  • Public leaderboard facilitates transparent model comparison
  • Includes both semantic and syntactic tasks, offering holistic evaluation
Cons
  • Limited to Swedish language only, not applicable to other languages
  • Requires submission of model outputs to the leaderboard, which may involve extra effort
