About VibeGrid
Vorn is an open-source agent command center that lets you run multiple AI agents (Claude, Copilot, Codex, OpenCode, Gemini) in a grid of terminals for interactive coding or define autonomous task queues and workflows. It provides real-time status monitoring, Kanban task management, MCP-powered integration, and inline diff review. Everything runs locally on your machine, with no need for Vorn API keys. Currently in alpha with a roadmap including SSH remote sessions, team collaboration, and connectors to GitHub Issues, Linear, Jira.
Key Features
Multi-agent grid with resizable, reorderable terminals for Claude, Copilot, Codex, OpenCode, and Gemini
Real-time status detection (running, waiting, idle, error) per agent
Task queue and Kanban board for per-project task management
Workflow automation: chain agents to implement, review, test, and deploy
MCP-powered server for programmatic task read/write and workflow triggers
Autonomous headless mode and interactive mode that share projects and git integration
Inline diff review for code changes
Pros & Cons
Pros
- Open source and free to use
- Supports multiple leading AI agents (Claude, Copilot, Codex, OpenCode, Gemini)
- Flexible modes: interactive hands-on or autonomous hands-off
- Local execution ensures data stays on your machine
- Real-time agent status and task queue visibility
- Workflow automation reduces manual handoffs between tasks
- MCP server enables programmable control and integration
Cons
- Early alpha stage; may have bugs and missing features
- Requires separate API keys for each agent service (e.g., Claude, Copilot)
- No built-in team collaboration yet (on roadmap)
- Limited to local machine; remote SSH sessions are on roadmap
- Documentation may be minimal due to early stage
Best For
Pair programming with multiple AI agents simultaneously on different tasksAutomated code review pipelines triggered by task status changesBackground documentation generation, test suite execution, and deploymentManaging project tasks with a Kanban board and integrated agent workflowsLocal development with full privacy and no external API dependencies for Vorn itself
FAQ
How does Vorn work?
