About FlowLens

FlowLens is a Chrome extension and open-source MCP server designed to make sharing web-app bugs with AI coding agents and human developers ridiculously easy and efficient. It automatically captures comprehensive context, including video, logs, network requests, and user actions, with a single click. This provides AI agents with rich, ready-to-use information for autonomous debugging, while also keeping token usage super efficient. It aims to help users fix bugs 10x faster by giving AI agents complete browser context.

How to Use

To use FlowLens, first install the Chrome extension and optionally the MCP server for AI-powered debugging. When a bug occurs, click 'record' in the extension and reproduce the issue. FlowLens automatically captures video, console logs, network requests, and user actions. This complete context is then packaged into a single shareable link that both developers and AI agents can understand, enabling AI agents to debug autonomously without manual copy-pasting or back-and-forth.

Key Features

  • Automated capture of complete browser context (video, logs, network, user actions, storage, navigation, system info)
  • AI-ready context for autonomous debugging via MCP integration
  • One-click bug recording and sharing
  • Privacy-first with local PII redaction and encryption
  • Efficient token usage for AI agents
  • Compatibility with MCP-compatible AI agents (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot)
  • Team collaboration with shared flows and projects

Use Cases

  • Developers debugging web application issues faster with AI assistance.
  • Software teams collaborating on bug fixes by sharing comprehensive bug context.
  • QA engineers reporting detailed bugs to development teams.
  • AI coding agents autonomously analyzing and fixing bugs.
  • Retroactively capturing unexpected bugs with instant replay flows.
