FAQ

What counts as a document?
A document is a single extraction result — not a file, and not a page. Send an individual PDF and that's one document, whether it's one page or forty. Send a package (several documents bundled into one PDF) and Sensible splits it, so each document inside the package counts as one. You're billed for what you extract, not for how many files or pages you upload.
What happens if I exceed my included documents?
You keep running. Documents beyond your plan's included volume are billed at your plan's per-document rate, so a busy month never stalls your pipeline. If you're consistently over, moving up a tier lowers your effective per-document cost.
How is per-document pricing different from per-token billing?
Token billing scales with how much text a model reads and writes, so the same document can cost a different amount run to run, and a model change can move your bill without warning. Per-document pricing is one predictable price per extraction. You can forecast a month of volume before you run it.
Are other pricing models available?
Yes. Per-document is the default. If you're running high volumes of single-page documents, per-page pricing sometimes models your costs better. We also build custom plans around unusual volume or workflow patterns. Tell us how your documents flow and we'll price it the way that fits.
Can smaller accounts get enterprise features?
Often, yes. If you need a specific capability from the Enterprise tier — a signed BAA for HIPAA workloads, a custom SLA, a particular region, or a custom data-retention policy — we can extend it to a smaller plan when the use case calls for it. You don't have to hit 10,000 documents a month to get the controls you need.
