About Perplexity Comet — Quiz Generation
Perplexity Comet is an AI-powered browser assistant that runs in a sidebar and has direct access to the content of whatever web page you are viewing, including sites that require authentication. In a demonstration, the assistant was able to correctly answer all questions in a Brightspace online quiz, including those that required parsing ambiguous wording and interpreting a screenshot. The tool highlights how AI assistants can now interact with secure, logged-in content, raising important questions for educators about assessment integrity and the future of online testing.
