Magic Sketchpad

Magic Sketchpad is a free, web-based drawing tool that integrates machine learning to enhance the creative process. Developed by @notwaldorf using magenta.js (a JavaScript library within TensorFlow), it allows users to draw on a canvas, and after each stroke, a machine learning algorithm attempts to complete the stroke to match a selected category, such as animals or objects. This real-time AI assistance creates a collaborative drawing experience where human input and algorithmic suggestions blend together. The tool is built on the Sketch RNN algorithm, which is designed to predict and extend drawings based on partial input. Hosted on Glitch, Magic Sketchpad is accessible directly from a browser without any installation or registration required, making it an approachable entry point for exploring AI-assisted creativity.
