Anakin

Anakin is a developer-focused web scraping API that lets you scrape, render, and extract structured data from any website - including JavaScript-heavy pages and pages behind login walls. You give us a URL. We handle the headless browsers, proxy rotation, anti-bot evasion, retries, JavaScript rendering, and DOM parsing. You get back clean JSON, HTML or Markdown.

It is designed as infrastructure: a single API that abstracts browser execution, proxy routing, retry logic, structured extraction, and authenticated session management.

## How to Use

You make a REST API call with a target URL and optional parameters such as JavaScript rendering, structured JSON schema, or a session ID. For JS-heavy pages, full headless browser instances execute the page before extraction. The response is returned as raw HTML, clean Markdown, or structured JSON based on your configuration.

For structured extraction, you can define a JSON schema and the system generates typed output using DOM parsing combined with LLM-based structured extraction. For authenticated workflows, you log in once through an isolated browser session; encrypted session cookies are stored securely, and future requests reference a session ID instead of credentials.
