FAQ

How does Confab work?
You describe an upcoming high-stakes meeting, and Confab creates a tailored prep brief with your opening line, three likely questions, the biggest objection to pre-empt, and a closing ask. Then you roleplay the meeting out loud with an AI avatar that asks those questions and pushes back. Afterward, you receive scores on clarity, confidence, conciseness, pace, and filler words, plus an ideal version read aloud.
What kind of conversations can I practice?
Confab is built for professional high-stakes conversations such as salary negotiations, skip-level project updates, exec review pushback, PM interview loops, performance reviews, all-hands Q&A, tough VP conversations, customer escalation calls, and board updates.
Does Confab remember my past sessions?
Yes. Confab's coach builds a profile of your goals, patterns, and what you're working on, and opens every session where the last one left off. You can review, edit, or reject any memory. Rejected memories never resurface.
Can I practice with a specific person?
Yes. You can build a custom avatar of the real person you talk to, including their role, pushback style, and how often they interrupt. This allows you to rehearse until their toughest question feels routine.
How much does Confab cost?
Confab is free to start. A Pro plan unlocks unlimited briefs and custom avatars. Specific pricing for the Pro tier has not been announced yet.
When is Confab launching?
Confab is launching in 2026. You can currently join the waitlist on their website.
