About Unique3D

Unique3D is a novel image-to-3D framework that generates high-fidelity, textured 3D meshes from a single orthogonal RGB image of any object in under 30 seconds. It achieves state-of-the-art generation fidelity and strong generalizability by combining a multi-view diffusion model and a normal diffusion model to produce multi-view color images and normal maps. The resolution of these multi-views is progressively improved through a multi-level upscale process. Finally, a fast and consistent mesh reconstruction algorithm called ISOMER integrates color and geometric priors to reconstruct high-quality meshes with millions of faces. The model can be trained efficiently using only 8 RTX 4090 GPUs in 5 days.
