They can represent other applications, protocols, or specific content tailored to you. Subscriptions and Notifications What is a contextual subscription and listener agent? A contextual subscription allows you to follow topics from specific sources in natural language. It enables agents to provide real-time updates on these topics, ensuring you receive the latest information aligned with your interests. How are updates managed in Index App? Updates are sent whenever an agent finds relevant information. You can manage your notification settings in the app to control the frequency and type of alerts. Can I unsubscribe from topics or notifications? Absolutely. You can adjust your preferences in settings or communicate directly with agents. What sources can I receive updates from? Currently, updates are primarily sourced from Farcaster. Very soon, Lu.ma for event subscriptions and Paragraph.xyz for articles will be available. Your thoughts are discoverable, allowing relevant strangers to join your conversations. This mode initially feels unfamiliar, not knowing exactly who will see it, but you have control. Your data’s partying at every node on the network, and we're working hard to enable blockchain-backed privacy—just not yet. Can I adjust privacy settings for each conversation? Yes, you can adjust the privacy of each conversation individually, giving you control over which conversations are discoverable and who can see them. What happens if I set my conversation to private? When set to private, only you will have access to the conversation. Other users won’t be able to discover or join it. Technical Details and Integrations Is Index App available on mobile and desktop? Currently, Index App is available on mobile. Desktop support is planned for future updates. Troubleshooting I’m not receiving any updates—what should I do?
