Frequently asked questions
How is the AI readiness score calculated?+
The assessment asks 10 questions covering your current automation level, team involvement, budget, data infrastructure, leadership buy-in, tools in use, integration complexity, in-house expertise, compliance constraints, and timeline. Each answer scores 0 to 3 points, giving a total score out of 30.
What do the readiness tiers mean?+
Scores map to four tiers: Beginner (0-10), Growing (11-18), Advanced (19-24), and Leader (25-30). Each tier comes with a short description of where you stand and a set of recommended next steps matched to that stage, from first experiments with AI tools through deploying AI agents.
Is the assessment free? Do I need to sign up?+
Yes, it is completely free and your score and recommendations are shown immediately — no account or email is required. There is an optional contact form at the end if you want our team to follow up, but you can skip it entirely.
Are my answers sent to a server?+
Scoring happens entirely in your browser and your individual answers are not uploaded. We record anonymous analytics events noting that an assessment was started or completed, along with the final score and tier. Your name, email, and score are only sent to us if you choose to submit the optional contact form.
How should I interpret my result?+
Treat it as a directional self-assessment, not a formal audit. The score reflects how you answered ten broad questions, so it is only as accurate as your answers and cannot capture the full nuance of your organization. Use it to identify weak areas — like data infrastructure or leadership buy-in — worth addressing before investing heavily in AI.
Can I retake the assessment?+
Yes. There is a "Retake Assessment" button on the results screen, and since answers are not saved between sessions, you can revisit the page any time — for example after a quarter of progress — to see how your score has changed.
