It is an AI-generated recommendation, not a fixed lookup table.

Is my task description kept private?+

Your description is sent to our server and processed by a third-party AI model to generate the recommendation. Do not paste API keys, credentials, customer data, or anything confidential — a general description of the task is all the router needs.

How accurate are the cost and latency estimates?+

They are AI-generated approximations based on the model’s knowledge of provider pricing, and they can be outdated or off for your specific token volumes. Verify costs against the provider’s official pricing page, or use our API Cost Router calculator for deterministic math based on your exact token counts.

Can I use the starter code directly?+

Treat it as a starting point. The snippets are generated to be runnable with the correct imports, but model names, SDK versions, and API signatures change over time, so test the code and check the provider’s current documentation before shipping anything to production.

Is this tool free?+
