Frequently asked questions

What does the spam scanner check for?+

It scans your text against a built-in database of risky phrases across five categories: AI jargon ("delve into", "tapestry of"), spam filter triggers ("act now", excessive caps and exclamation marks), platform-suppressed phrases ("link in bio", "swipe up"), tired cliches, and salesy cold-email language. Each flag includes the reason and, where useful, a suggested replacement.

Is my text uploaded anywhere?+

No. The scan runs entirely in your browser against a pattern database bundled with the page — nothing you paste is sent to a server. You can safely check unpublished drafts and private emails.

Will removing flagged phrases prevent a shadowban?+

Not necessarily. Platforms do not publish their suppression rules, and reach also depends on account history, posting behavior, and content quality. This tool removes known linguistic risk factors — it improves your odds but cannot guarantee distribution.

Is this the same as an AI content detector?+

No. This tool flags specific AI-typical phrases so you can remove them, but it does not score how likely your text is to be AI-generated overall. For that, use our separate AI Content Detector, which analyzes sentence structure and dozens of other writing patterns.

What kind of text should I scan?+

It is built for social captions (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube), cold emails, and marketing copy. A mode toggle lets you focus the analysis on social or email contexts, or scan any text against all categories at once.

Is the scanner free?+

Yes. It is free with no signup and no scan limits. Because everything runs client-side, you can check as many drafts as you like.
