AI News Scraper: RSS to Markdown & Google Drive

This n8n workflow creates an automated AI news curation system that fetches breaking headlines from curated RSS sources like Google News, OpenAI Blog, and Hugging Face. It runs on multiple scheduled triggers, parses feeds, scrapes article content excluding ads and navigation, formats it as clean Markdown, and uploads files directly to a specified Google Drive folder. Ideal for hands-free content archiving and research.

The process starts with Schedule Trigger nodes firing every 3-4 hours for each source, followed by HTTP Requests to fetch RSS feeds. Items are split for individual processing, then sent to Firecrawl API for intelligent scraping prompted to extract main content in Markdown. Finally, the Convert to File node prepares .md files for seamless Google Drive integration via OAuth2.
