Auto Post Latest Reddit Posts to Discord with Image Extraction
Fetches new Reddit posts every 15 minutes, filters out mods/announcements, extracts images, and shares title, image, and link to Discord via webhook.
This n8n workflow automates the monitoring and sharing of fresh content from any subreddit to a Discord channel. It triggers every 15 minutes via a Schedule node, fetching the latest 3 posts using the Reddit node. Posts from moderators or announcements are filtered out based on author ID to ensure only relevant user-generated content is processed.
Next, it retrieves full post details for surviving items and parses the data to extract direct image URLs, handling various Reddit post formats seamlessly. The extracted title, image, and post link are then formatted and sent to Discord using a webhook, creating an engaging embed post.
