Expose AWS Budgets API to AI Agents via MCP Server

This n8n workflow transforms the AWS Budgets API into an MCP-compatible server, allowing AI agents to perform 23 key operations like CreateBudget, CreateBudgetAction, and more via simple HTTP requests. It uses an MCP Trigger node as the endpoint, HTTP Request nodes for API calls to budgets.amazonaws.com, and AI expressions with $fromAI() placeholders for dynamic parameter handling. Responses are returned natively to agents, enabling natural language-driven budget management.

Benefits include rapid setup (import, add credentials, activate), no custom coding, and full exposure of AWS Budgets features for AI tools. It saves hours of development time by providing a ready-to-use gateway, ensuring secure, scalable access with AWS credentials.

Use cases: AI agents monitoring AWS costs, creating budgets on-demand, setting notifications/subscribers, or automating actions based on budget thresholds. Ideal for DevOps teams, FinOps, or AI-powered cloud cost optimization in multi-account environments.
