Host OpenClaw on Hostinger: 1-Click or VPS Install

Learn how to deploy a persistent OpenClaw Gateway on Hostinger using either a 1-Click managed deployment or a VPS install. This guide is for users who want a quick or self-managed setup.

Read this when

  • Setting up OpenClaw on Hostinger
  • Looking for a managed VPS for OpenClaw
  • Using Hostinger 1-Click OpenClaw

Deploy a persistent OpenClaw Gateway on Hostinger in two ways: a 1-Click managed deployment that Hostinger handles, or a VPS install that you manage directly.

Prerequisites

  • A Hostinger account (signup)
  • Roughly 5 to 10 minutes of your time

Option A: 1-Click OpenClaw

Hostinger manages the infrastructure, Docker, and automatic updates. This is the quickest route to a live instance.

Purchase and launch

  1. Go to the Hostinger OpenClaw page, pick a Managed OpenClaw plan, and complete the purchase.

Note

At checkout you can add Ready-to-Use AI credits. These are pre-purchased and automatically integrated inside OpenClaw, so no external accounts or API keys from other providers are needed. You can start chatting immediately. Otherwise, during setup you can supply your own key from Anthropic, OpenAI, Google Gemini, or xAI.

Select a messaging channel

Pick one or more channels to link:

  • WhatsApp -- scan the QR code that appears in the setup wizard.
  • Telegram -- paste the bot token from BotFather.

Complete installation

Select Finish to launch the instance. When it is ready, reach the OpenClaw dashboard through OpenClaw Overview in hPanel.

Option B: OpenClaw on VPS

Gives you more server control. Hostinger deploys OpenClaw with Docker on your VPS, and you manage everything through the Docker Manager inside hPanel.

Purchase a VPS

  1. Go to the Hostinger OpenClaw page, pick an OpenClaw on VPS plan, and complete the purchase.

Note

During checkout you can choose Ready-to-Use AI credits. These are pre-purchased and integrated automatically into OpenClaw, letting you chat without needing any external accounts or API keys from other providers.

Configure OpenClaw

After the VPS is ready, fill in the configuration fields:

  • Gateway token -- generated automatically; keep it for later.
  • WhatsApp number -- your number including the country code (optional).
  • Telegram bot token -- from BotFather (optional).
  • API keys -- required only if you did not select Ready-to-Use AI credits at checkout.

Start OpenClaw

Click Deploy. Once it is running, open the OpenClaw dashboard from hPanel by clicking Open.

Logs, restarts, and updates are managed through the Docker Manager interface in hPanel. To update, click Update in Docker Manager to pull the newest image.

Verify your setup

Send "Hi" to your assistant on the channel you connected. OpenClaw replies and guides you through initial preferences.

Troubleshooting

Dashboard not loading -- Wait a few minutes for the container to finish provisioning, then check the Docker Manager logs in hPanel.

Docker container keeps restarting -- Open Docker Manager logs and look for configuration errors such as missing tokens or invalid API keys.

Telegram bot not responding -- If DM pairing is required, an unknown sender receives a short pairing code instead of a reply. Approve it from the OpenClaw dashboard chat, or with openclaw pairing approve telegram <CODE> if you have shell access to the container. See Pairing.
