Visual organization dashboard plugin for Hermes Agent with interactive org charts, team presets, kanban integration, and chat control.
Repository last updated Jul 20, 2026
Overview
FruVisi is a dashboard plugin for Hermes Agent that provides an interactive 2D organizational chart for managing agent structures. Built on React Flow, it enables you to visually arrange agents, define reporting lines, assign areas and groups, and create functional presets for one-click team lineups.
The plugin integrates deeply with Hermes' native profiles and kanban system. Agents remain the single source of truth—FruVisi only adds the organizational layer on top. You can set per-agent OpenRouter fallbacks, manage tasks via drag-and-drop, and control the entire structure through chat commands on any Hermes gateway.
Designed for teams running Hermes Agent v0.15+, FruVisi works with both Docker and native installations. It requires no external dependencies beyond the Hermes dashboard and offers a lightweight, transparent plugin that never duplicates agent data or makes external network requests.
Highlights
- Interactive 2D org chart with React Flow
- One-click functional presets for team lineups
- Per-agent OpenRouter fallback configuration
- Kanban task integration via native Hermes API
- Chat control with six operational agent tools
- Areas, groups, and top-agent designation
Features
Interactive Org Chart
Freely placeable agent cards with reporting lines, cycle protection, auto-layout (dagre), and position swapping.
Functional Presets
Create multiple named lineups per use case; switching presets writes active/INACTIVE markers into profile descriptions for kanban routing.
OpenRouter Fallback
Configure a fallback model per agent via checkbox; cards show a fallback badge when enabled.
Kanban Integration
Task badges per agent, unassigned-task dock with drag-to-assign, and per-agent task lists through the native Hermes kanban API.
Chat Control
Six operational tools for all gateways: overview, list/switch presets, add/remove preset members, apply structure.
Native Profile Integration
Agents are native Hermes profiles; FruVisi never duplicates data and writes only through official Hermes functions.

How it's built
FruVisi is built with TypeScript and React for the frontend, bundled as an IIFE via esbuild. The backend is a FastAPI plugin that manages the topology store in topology.json (atomic writes). Agent tools are registered via the Hermes plugin register(ctx) entry point.
The repo layout separates the plugin backend (plugin/) from the frontend source (src/). The frontend uses React Flow and dagre for the org chart, and communicates with the Hermes API through the plugin SDK. The dashboard plugin is mounted at plugin/dashboard/dist/ and served by the Hermes dashboard.
Integration requires Hermes Agent v0.15+ (tested against v0.18.2). The plugin works with both Docker (official image) and native ~/.hermes installs. For the fallback feature, OPENROUTER_API_KEY must be set in the instance's environment.
