DREAMS.md
DREAMS.md
An optional diary written during idle "dreaming" runs: re-reading recent memory and writing down what only becomes visible in aggregate. Human-readable on purpose — the user should enjoy skimming it.
Entry format
## 2026-07-13 — weekly review
Read: last 7 daily files, MEMORY.md.
Patterns
- Three of the last five printer requests failed on the first try. The
wake-before-print step is not in TOOLS.md — it should be.
- The user rescheduled the Tuesday call twice. Might be a bad slot; worth
asking rather than assuming.
Drift check
- MEMORY.md says "weekly summary on Fridays" but the last two summaries
were requested on Thursdays. Which is the rule?
One idea, freely offered
- The dedupe script's dry-run lists have been approved unchanged three
times. Offer to automate approval for exact-duplicate cases only.
Rules
- Reflection reads memory; it never takes actions. Ideas are proposed here and acted on only when the user says so.
- Questions raised here get asked at the next real conversation — an unanswered drift check is the whole point of having written it down.
- Keep entries under a screen. If a pattern needs more space, it needs a task, not a longer dream.
