AgentMemory Skill

Persistent memory system for AI agents. Remember facts, learn from experience, and track entities across sessions.

Installation

clawdhub install agent-memory

Usage

from src.memory import AgentMemory

mem = AgentMemory()

# Remember facts
mem.remember("Important information", tags=["category"])

# Learn from experience
mem.learn(
    action="What was done",
    context="situation",
    outcome="positive",  # or "negative"
    insight="What was learned"
)

# Recall memories
facts = mem.recall("search query")
lessons = mem.get_lessons(context="topic")

# Track entities
mem.track_entity("Name", "person", {"role": "engineer"})

When to Use

  • Starting a session: Load relevant context from memory
  • After conversations: Store important facts
  • After failures: Record lessons learned
  • Meeting new people/projects: Track as entities

Integration with Clawdbot

Add to your AGENTS.md or HEARTBEAT.md:

## Memory Protocol

On session start:
1. Load recent lessons: `mem.get_lessons(limit=5)`
2. Check entity context for current task
3. Recall relevant facts

On session end:
1. Extract durable facts from conversation
2. Record any lessons learned
3. Update entity information

Database Location

Default: ~/.agent-memory/memory.db

Custom: AgentMemory(db_path="/path/to/memory.db")

Cognitive Memory

@icemilo414

Intelligent multi-store memory system with human-like encoding, consolidation, decay, and recall. Use when setting up agent memory, configuring remember/forget triggers, enabling sleep-time reflection, building knowledge graphs, or adding audit trails. Replaces basic flat-file memory with a cognitive architecture featuring episodic, semantic, procedural, and core memory stores. Supports multi-agent systems with shared read, gated write access model. Includes philosophical meta-reflection that deepens understanding over time. Covers MEMORY.md, episode logging, entity graphs, decay scoring, reflection cycles, evolution tracking, and system-wide audit.

memory

@ivangdavila

Remembers, recalls, and organizes durable facts in a categorized markdown store at ~/Clawic/data/memory/, parallel to built-in agent memory. Use when the user says remember this, save this, note that for later, or don't forget; when they ask what did I tell you about X, when did we decide Y, or who is Z; when a stored fact is wrong, outdated, or contradicts what they just said; when they want something forgotten or deleted; when recall misses, returns stale facts, or slows down as the store grows; when duplicate or conflicting entries appear; when consolidating scattered notes, importing an existing vault, or sharing memory across devices and agents. Not for session-scoped context the runtime already holds, note-taking apps (notes), journaling practice (journal), or study techniques like spaced repetition (learn, active-recall).
