What This Skill Does
Guides software development through a structured workflow of planning, implementation, verification, and testing. Stores user preferences locally and provides step-by-step coding guidance without executing code or making network requests.
Replaces ad-hoc coding sessions by enforcing a repeatable plan-verify-deliver cycle that catches issues before delivery.
When to Use It
- Implement a new feature with step-by-step planning and verification
- Refactor existing code with testable checkpoints at each stage
- Debug a complex issue by breaking it into independently verifiable steps
- Set up a coding project with user preference tracking in memory.md
- Deliver a code change after running full test suite and verification checks

Scope

Core Rules
1. Check Memory First
Read ~/code/memory.md for user's stated preferences if it exists.
2. User Controls Execution
- This skill provides GUIDANCE, not autonomous execution
- User decides when to proceed to next step
- Sub-agent delegation requires user's explicit request
3. Plan Before Code
- Break requests into testable steps
- Each step independently verifiable
