What This Skill Does
Command-line tool to manage Apple Reminders on macOS via `remindctl`. Supports listing, adding, editing, completing, and deleting reminders across lists with date filters and JSON/plain output.
Replaces manually opening the Reminders app for bulk or scripted operations by exposing all core reminder actions through a terminal CLI.
When to Use It
- Add a reminder from a shell script or automation
- List all overdue reminders for a daily check
- Complete multiple reminders by ID in one command
- Create a new reminder list for a project
- Export today's reminders as JSON for integration with other tools
- Delete a reminder without opening the Reminders app
Install

Use remindctl to manage Apple Reminders directly from the terminal. It supports list filtering, date-based views, and scripting output.
Setup
- Install (Homebrew):
brew install steipete/tap/remindctl - From source:
pnpm install && pnpm build(binary at./bin/remindctl) - macOS-only; grant Reminders permission when prompted.

Notes
- macOS-only.
- If access is denied, enable Terminal/remindctl in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Reminders.
- If running over SSH, grant access on the Mac that runs the command.
