What This Skill Does
Command-line tool that searches the web and extracts page content via the Brave Search API. Returns results with titles, links, snippets, and optional full-page markdown content without needing a browser.
Replaces manually opening a browser to search and copy-paste web content by providing a scriptable, headless search and extraction pipeline.
When to Use It
- Search for documentation or API references from the terminal
- Look up current facts or news without opening a browser
- Fetch readable markdown content from a specific URL
- Integrate web search into automated scripts or workflows
- Gather search results with page content for offline analysis

Setup
Run once before first use:
cd ~/Projects/agent-scripts/skills/brave-search
npm ci
Needs env: BRAVE_API_KEY.
Search
./search.js "query" # Basic search (5 results)

Extract Page Content
./content.js https://example.com/article
Fetches a URL and extracts readable content as markdown.
Output Format
