What This Skill Does
Command-line interface for interacting with MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers. Supports listing, configuring, authenticating, and calling MCP tools over HTTP or stdio, with features for ad-hoc server connections, config editing, and CLI/type generation.
Replaces manually crafting HTTP requests or writing custom scripts to interact with MCP servers by providing a unified CLI with selector, function, and JSON payload syntax.
When to Use It
- List available tools on an MCP server
- Call an MCP tool with key=value arguments from the command line
- Authenticate with an MCP server using OAuth
- Generate a dedicated CLI for a specific MCP server
- Inspect the schema of a server's tools before calling them
- Start a daemon to keep MCP server connections alive
Install
$ openclaw skills install @steipete/mcportermcporter
