You will join the Global Threat Intelligence team within the Physical Security organization. We are the forward-looking analytical engine for Waymo, utilizing open-source data, regional networks, and vendor support to identify, evaluate, and mitigate emerging threats to Waymo’s global people, assets, and expanding market operations.
This role follows a hybrid work schedule and reports to the Global Threat Intelligence Program Manager.
You will:
- Deliver Actionable Intelligence: Author and distribute high-impact tactical and strategic threat intelligence products—such as event threat assessments, predictive outlooks, and situational briefings—focused on the EMEA region.
- Partner with Regional Stakeholders: Serve as an intelligence advisor to London-based business units and broader European operations, proactively addressing localized security needs for high-profile events and regional operations while maintaining clear ownership over analytical priorities.
- Conduct Comprehensive Research: Use OSINT methodologies to research and analyze geopolitical trends, regional stability, and local threat environments impacting Waymo's European markets.
- Execute PIR-Driven Workflows: Process and deliver tactical, strategic, and proactive intelligence products driven by established Priority Intelligence Requirements (PIRs).
- Collaborate on Vendor Capabilities: Leverage and review external vendor intelligence deliverables and feeds to synthesize regional data, ensuring vendor-produced outputs align with Waymo’s analytic standards.
- Maintain Intelligence Networks: Cultivate and leverage an impactful regional network of internal counterparts and external peers, including private sector forums, government partners, and information sharing centers.
You have:
- 5+ Years of Analytical Experience: Progressive experience as a dedicated intelligence analyst within a corporate security, government, or specialized risk intelligence environment.
- Collaborative Advisory Mindset: Proven ability to operate as an independent support function, establishing clear boundaries, managing expectations, and providing expert guidance without acting as a direct operational resource.
- Proven Deliverable Track Record: Demonstrated expertise in drafting concise, high-impact written intelligence products (e.g., threat assessments, risk outlooks, leadership briefings) that directly inform operational decision-making.
- Advanced Research Capabilities: Exceptional OSINT skills, critical thinking, and synthesis capabilities, with a proven ability to independently evaluate information validity and analyze complex risks.
- Stakeholder Engagement Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of briefing cross-functional teams and translating threat data for non-security business units.
- Academic Foundation: Bachelor's degree in Intelligence Studies, International Relations, Political Science, Global Security, or a highly analytical field.
We prefer:
- Corporate Security Specialization: Prior experience operating within a corporate threat intelligence team for a multinational technology, autonomous vehicle, or transportation company.
- Regional Expertise: Strong baseline understanding of the geopolitical, security, and operational threat landscapes specific to the UK and European markets.
- Domain Leadership Capabilities: Demonstrated experience acting as a regional lead for an intelligence function, with proven success coordinating workflows across cross-functional partners and external intelligence providers.
- Innovative Analytical Tooling: Experience integrating advanced OSINT aggregators, scrapers, visualization platforms, or AI applications into data-driven intelligence cycles.
