It retrieves ticket data and requester information from Zendesk, merges them, and checks if a corresponding HubSpot contact exists via external ID. If the contact exists, it updates the contact; otherwise, it creates a new one. It also handles ticket creation in HubSpot and updates external IDs back in Zendesk for seamless tracking.
