CO2 Emissions Tracker for Business Flights with AI & Carbon API
Automates CO2 emission tracking from flight confirmation emails using Gmail, GPT-4o AI extraction, Carbon Interface API, and Google Sheets storage.
This n8n workflow automates the tracking of CO2 emissions from business travel flights. It starts with a Gmail trigger that captures flight booking confirmation emails. An AI Agent powered by GPT-4o intelligently extracts key details such as flight dates, airport codes, flight numbers, and passenger counts from unstructured email content.
Each flight leg is then processed individually: the workflow calls the Carbon Interface API to accurately estimate CO2 emissions based on the extracted data.
