Extract & Organize Colombian Invoices with Gmail, GPT-4o & Google Workspace

This n8n workflow streamlines personal invoice management for Colombians by monitoring Gmail for ZIP attachments containing DIAN-standard invoices. It triggers every 30 minutes, extracts PDFs and XMLs, and employs a LangChain Agent powered by GPT-4o-mini to intelligently parse critical details like document type, invoice number, dates, NITs, business names, subtotals, IVA, totals, CUFE, and a concise purchase summary.

Validation ensures accuracy by checking if Total equals Subtotal + IVA. Processed PDFs are renamed (YYYY-MM-DD-NUMERO_FACTURA.pdf) and uploaded to Google Drive, while data is upserted into Google Sheets using a unique key (NIT_Emisor + Numero_Factura) to avoid duplicates. This setup minimizes manual effort, reduces errors, and provides organized, searchable records.
