Merge Multiple RSS Feeds, Filter & Send to Telegram
Combines RSS feeds from multiple sources, filters recent items, sorts by date, formats as Markdown, and sends to Telegram channels. Ideal for automated notifications in travel and hospitality.
This n8n workflow automates the curation and delivery of news from multiple RSS sources directly to a Telegram channel. It fetches content from specified RSS feeds, extracts and formats key fields like title, link, and publication date using regex and JavaScript, then merges the data streams. Items older than two days are filtered out, the list is sorted by recency, and a custom JS function generates a flat Markdown list with escaped characters for proper rendering. Finally, the formatted message is posted to Telegram.
The workflow runs on a schedule (e.g., twice daily), ensuring timely updates without manual intervention. Configuration is straightforward: set RSS URLs, tweak regex in Edit Fields nodes for your sources, adjust filter age in the Sort node, and configure Telegram credentials.
Benefits include time savings on content curation, reliable delivery of fresh news, and scalability for multiple sources. It prevents message length errors by limiting items and handles formatting issues proactively.
Perfect for travel & hospitality guest communication, such as sending hotel guests curated travel tips, flight updates, or local event news from RSS feeds. Also useful for any team needing automated RSS digests in Telegram channels for marketing, news monitoring, or internal alerts.
