Before creating the new backup, it intelligently moves the previous night's files to an 'n8n_old' subfolder, appending the date to filenames to maintain a clear history without overwriting data.

Key features include customizable scheduling via the Schedule Trigger node, ensuring backups run at your preferred time (e.g., midnight). The optional purge functionality scans the 'n8n_old' folder and automatically deletes backups older than a user-defined period (default: 30 days), helping control Google Drive storage costs and clutter.
