What This Skill Does
Proxied API integration for Pipedrive CRM with managed OAuth authentication. Enables CRUD operations on deals, persons, organizations, activities, and pipelines through Maton's API gateway, automatically injecting OAuth tokens.
Replaces building custom OAuth flows and direct Pipedrive API integrations by providing a managed proxy that handles authentication and connection management.
When to Use It
- Create and update deals in Pipedrive from automated workflows
- Search for persons or organizations by name or custom fields
- Log activities and notes to existing deals or contacts
- List and filter deals by stage, pipeline, or custom criteria
- Manage multiple Pipedrive accounts via separate OAuth connections
- Retrieve pipeline stages and deal fields for reporting

Maton proxies requests to api.pipedrive.com and automatically injects your OAuth token.
Authentication
All requests require the Maton API key in the Authorization header:
Authorization: Bearer $MATON_API_KEY
Environment Variable: Set your API key as MATON_API_KEY:

Specifying Connection
If you have multiple Pipedrive connections, specify which one to use with the Maton-Connection header:

If you have multiple connections, always include this header to ensure requests go to the intended account.
Security & Permissions
- Access is scoped to deals, persons, organizations, activities, and pipelines within the connected Pipedrive account.
- All write operations require explicit user approval. Before executing any create, update, or delete call, confirm the target resource and intended effect with the user.

- IDs are integers
- Email and phone fields accept arrays for multiple values
visible_tovalues: 1 (owner only), 3 (entire company), 5 (owner's visibility group), 7 (entire company and visibility group)- Deal status:
open,won,lost,deleted - Use
startandlimitfor pagination - Custom fields are supported via their API key (e.g.,
abc123_custom_field) - IMPORTANT: When using curl commands, use
curl -gwhen URLs contain brackets (fields[],sort[],records[]) to disable glob parsing - IMPORTANT: When piping curl output to
jqor other commands, environment variables like$MATON_API_KEYmay not expand correctly in some shell environments. You may get "Invalid API key" errors when piping.
