This workflow automatically creates a GitLab issue for each new release on GitHub, ensuring that your team stays updated with the latest changes.
This workflow uses a Cron job to periodically check for new releases on a specified GitHub repository. If a new release is detected and no corresponding issue exists in the GitLab repository, it creates a new issue with details from the release. This automation is particularly useful for tracking updates in repositories where you are not a member, as it does not require webhook access.
