Automate Gmail Reply Drafts with OpenAI Assistant
This workflow triggers on labeled Gmail emails, uses OpenAI Assistant to generate smart reply drafts, and attaches them to threads automatically. Saves time on routine email responses with customizable AI knowledge.
This n8n workflow automates the creation of reply drafts in Gmail using an OpenAI Assistant. It runs on a schedule (default every 1 minute), checks for emails with a specific label like 'AI', retrieves the message content, and sends it to the OpenAI Assistant to generate a tailored reply. The response is converted to HTML, formatted into a raw RFC-compliant email message, and created as a draft linked to the original thread. Finally, the trigger label is removed to avoid loops.
