Download Videos from Any Platform to Google Drive via RapidAPI

This n8n workflow streamlines video content management by triggering on web form submissions with a video URL. It queries the RapidAPI 'best All-In-One Video Downloader' to retrieve direct download links for videos from supported platforms including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and more. The workflow intelligently handles API responses, downloading MP4 files only on success.

Upon successful download, the video is automatically uploaded to a specified Google Drive folder. Permissions are then set to make the file publicly viewable, generating a shareable link ideal for teams or content distribution. For failures, it logs the URL and status in Google Sheets after a brief wait to avoid duplicates, ensuring reliable error tracking.

Benefits include massive time savings for content creators, social media managers, and marketers who frequently need to archive or repurpose videos. Use cases: bulk downloading social media videos for editing, client deliverables, backups, or compliance archiving. No manual downloads or uploads required—fully automated with robust error handling.
