Extract Seed-Funded Startup Leads via RSS, AI Scraping to Excel
Monitors RSS feeds for seed-funded startups, scrapes articles with BrightData, extracts structured data using GPT-4.1-MINI, and appends to OneDrive Excel for instant sales leads.
This n8n workflow automates the discovery and extraction of data on recently seed-funded startups by monitoring curated RSS feeds for funding announcements. Upon detecting new articles, it uses BrightData to scrape full content, converts it to clean markdown, and leverages OpenAI's GPT-4.1-MINI to parse key details like company name, website, LinkedIn, founders, and funding amount into structured JSON.
The extracted data is then seamlessly appended to a pre-configured Excel sheet on OneDrive via Microsoft Graph API, creating a real-time, actionable list of qualified leads. This eliminates manual research, saving hours of work for sales and BD teams while ensuring fresh data without effort.
Ideal for sales development, venture scouting, or HR talent acquisition targeting high-growth startups. Benefits include scalable lead gen, AI-powered accuracy, and easy integration with CRMs. Requires self-hosted n8n for community nodes like BrightData.
