This n8n workflow monitors specified Reddit subreddits every 2 hours using a Cron trigger. It pulls the latest 10 posts via Reddit's OAuth2 API, filters for those mentioning freelance, gigs, or n8n to identify potential job leads, then retrieves full comment threads for relevant posts.
Next, it processes comments with custom JavaScript in a Function node to extract only top-level replies, excluding nested ones and moderator auto-messages via IF conditions. Data is cleaned and formatted in a Set node, capturing key fields like subreddit, post title, URL, comment body, username, and timestamp.
Finally, it appends rows to a pre-configured Google Sheets spreadsheet, handling cases with no comments gracefully.
