This workflow automates the daily backup of your n8n workflows to Google Drive, ensuring data safety and organization. It creates timestamped folders, converts workflows to JSON files, and manages backups by retaining only the most recent seven days. Notifications are sent via Telegram to keep you updated on the backup status.
The workflow begins with a manual or scheduled trigger to initiate the backup process. It creates a new folder in Google Drive with a timestamped name, retrieves all workflows from your n8n instance, converts them into JSON files, and uploads these files to the newly created folder. The workflow also includes a retention policy that deletes folders older than seven days to manage storage space efficiently. Once the backup is complete, a Telegram notification is sent, providing the folder name and a link to access it in Google Drive.
