Automate Volunteer Assignment for Emergency Assistance Requests
This workflow automates the process of assigning available volunteers to individuals in need based on new form submissions in Airtable. It ensures timely assistance by notifying both parties via their preferred contact method.
This workflow is designed to streamline the process of connecting individuals in need with available volunteers. When a new request is submitted via Airtable, the system checks for available volunteers who have less than four current assignments. If a suitable volunteer is found, they are assigned to the request, and both the volunteer and the requester are notified via their preferred contact method, either SMS or email. If no volunteer is available, the requester is informed that their request is being processed.
