The process starts with user inputs: a root folder ID and the path. The workflow parses the path by splitting on '/' separators, then iteratively processes each segment. For every folder name, it searches within the current parent folder. If the subfolder exists, it retrieves its ID; if not, it creates a new one and captures the new ID as the parent for the next iteration. This loop handles any depth of nesting reliably.
